AGRP Partnership and Event Sponsorship

For the past 35 years, AGRP has been the preeminent national organization representing professionals engaged in lobbying, public policy and advocacy. We educate, exchange information, and advocate in support of the Constitution’s First Amendment right to petition government.

Member of Congress Roundtable Series

AGRP’s Roundtables give participants an opportunity to share a breakfast or lunch with a Member of Congress and hear directly about the pressing issues facing Congress and the Committee(s) the Member serves.  Participants may address concerns as well as questions about issues that are important to their association, corporation or their clients. (20-40 participants per Roundtable).

AGRP’s Issue Panels bring together bipartisan House and Senate Committee staff with expertise in a specific issue to discuss pending legislation, or, subject matter experts on issues related to managing a government relations program. (40-100 participants).

Lobbying Certificate Program (LCP), founded by AGRP in 2006, is today’s gold standard for government relations professionals to possess and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of legislative and political processes plus the rules, regulations and ethics that shape lobbying requirements and are the key to success. Instructors are high profile subject matter experts that conduct 14 courses in a calendar year.

Networking events provide AGRP members and industry partners a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to connect on common issues and expand their networks. Quarterly networking events are held at Bloomberg Government and they serve as our exclusive sponsor.

 

AGRP’s Annual Meeting is our signature event that brings together AGRP members from across the nation. The Annual Meeting is the most effective way to build and strengthen connections and discuss the government relations profession with fellow practitioners. This year’s Annual Meeting will take place on November 12, 2015 and feature a Keynote Address given by Donald Rumsfeld, twice former Secretary of Defense, Congressman, and author. In addition to networking, a Congressional Leadership Staff Panel, and a “State of the Association” business meeting, AGRP will also be hosting our first ever VIP Reception after the Keynote Address that comes with unprecedented and exclusive benefits.
