Mission

AGRP’s mission is to enhance the professionalism, competence, and high ethical standards or public policy advocates through education, information exchange, and the ongoing advocacy of the Constitution’s First Amendment right to petition government.

Vision

We envision an open, accessible, and well-informed system of government that fosters the public trust and values the significant role professional lobbyists play in the public’s right to be represented before government.

Values & Beliefs

Freedom of Speech: We believe in the Constitutionally-protected right of freedom of speech, the public’s right to petition government, and the right of all Americans to be represented before government.

Ethical Conduct: We believe in ethical conduct at all times and in all transactions by all lobbying professionals.

Transparency: We believe in transparency in the practices of lobbying professionals and government.

Service: We believe in the value of representational services lobbying professional provide to the American public and government.

Strategic Goals

National Voice:  To be the national voice of lobbying professionals and to bolster the understanding and trust in the lobbying profession.

Membership Growth & Engagement:  To grow and broaden AGRP’s membership and provide AGRP’s members with enhanced opportunities for involvement.

Member Programs, Services, & Activities: To be the go-to source of resources, training, information exchange, and content for all lobbying professionals.

Education and Training:  To be the premier source of training and education of best practices and highest ethical standards of the lobbying profession.

Organizational Viability:  To provide the structure and resources required to execute our programs and activities professionally and successfully.
