Dominic Stephenson

Dominic Stephenson is Director in The Federal Group, Inc., a full board, bipartisan government relations firm on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. Mr. Stephenson has over 25 years years of experience in Washington. He is awarded various legislative and regulatory accomplishments in the sphere of healthcare, retail business issues, transportation, worldwide trading, justice in criminal nature, financial services and other policy aspects. He is also a highly efficient public spokesman having evidenced before Congress representatives.

Before working at The Federal Group, Mr. Stephenson spent 10 years in the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), being predominantly Vice President of Federal Government Affairs. He ran NACDS to great accomplishments in both the Affordable Care Act of 2010 and the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003. He also served as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), an alliance of large retail chains including WalMart.

During college time, he employed as an intern in the legislative sphere for U.S. Senators Howell Heflin and John Glenn.

Additionally to his performance on the Executive Committee of the AGRP’s Board of Directors, Mr. Stephenson was engaged in the Board of the Congressional Award Foundation, a charity organization founded by Congress to acknowledge volunteerism and accomplishment among America’s youth.

Mr. Stephenson gained his Masters degree in American Government from Harward University and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas College. He also has a certificate for tutoring.
